The Narrative
Nedal Ismail is a seasoned academic, corporate strategist, and global advisor whose career spans the intersection of institutional leadership, international trade, and large-scale infrastructure development. With deep experience across academic, diplomatic, public, and private sectors, he brings a rare breadth of perspective to every stage he occupies - connecting research rigour with real-world executive judgment.
As Professor and Academic Director of the Supply Chain Management and Management Studies programmes at the Longo Faculty of Business, his research spans international trade, supply chain dynamics, entrepreneurship, family business strategy, and the drivers of global foreign direct investment. Beyond the academy, he has advised multiple governments on international trade, economic development, and border services - collaborating with ministries, chambers of commerce, and free zone authorities across regions.
His corporate track record includes leading capital project planning initiatives with pre-feasibility values exceeding US$1 billion, spanning industrial estates, logistics infrastructure, and real estate development. A board member of public companies, NGOs, and think tanks, and a former International Elections Observer, Nedal operates with equal authority in boardrooms and on global policy stages.
