Wafaa Faysal

Dr. Wafaa Faysal is a Consultant Pediatrician and Head of the Pediatric Department at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai. She is also the President of the Global Pediatric Congress and the host of the Medcast Podcast, where she contributes to conversations around children’s health, medical education, and the future of healthcare.

A graduate of the American University of Beirut, Dr. Wafaa brings extensive clinical, academic, and leadership experience to her work. She serves as a DHA examiner responsible for assessing doctors seeking professional licensing in the UAE and holds academic roles as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah School of Medicine, an Assistant Professor at Beirut Arab University Medical College, and an Assistant Professor at the Lebanese University Faculty of Health Sciences.

Her work focuses on preventive pediatric care, children’s nutrition, healthy development, and parenting guidance. She also holds a Certificate in Children’s Nutrition from Boston School of Medicine.

Dr. Wafaa is a member of the Lebanese Order of Physicians, the Lebanese Pediatric Society, and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She is a regular speaker at local and regional medical conferences and has contributed to prominent platforms and events including Forbes Middle East, Voices of the Future, PediaEgypt, IPS, and the Global Pediatric Congress.
